The AYO & AYS music folders are now available for pick up at Robertson & Sons Violin Shop (3201 Carlisle Blvd. NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110, located on the west side of the street between Candelaria and Comanche.

The AJO & AJS music folders will be available for pick up at Robertson & Sons Violin Shop on August 1. The Prelude String Orchestra music will be given out on Aug. 15.

Student News

Andrew A. Chael, Horn player in the Albuquerque Youth Orchestra and a senior at Manzano High School, has been selected among 141 outstanding high school seniors as 2009 Presidential Scholars, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

Andrew has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, artistic excellence, leadership, citizenship and community service. Presidential scholars are honored for their accomplishments in Washington D.C.
