AYS Alumni Concert

A special concert to benefit the AYS Program's Building Campaign

Featuring an orchestra of AYS Alumni conducted by Gabriel Gordon with special guest artist, Carmelo de los Santos, Violin

Performing Brahms Double Concerto and the Academic Festival Overture

Saturday, August 29 at 3:00 p.m. in UNM's Keller Hall.

This special concert will feature AYS Alumni who are serving as music professionals in Albuquerque and New Mexico. The players represent members of many orchestras throughout the state, including the NMSO, Santa Fe Symphony, Santa Fe Pro Musica, the Albuquerque Philharmonic, the Roswell Symphony, Four Corners Symphony, Albuquerque Concert Band, Opera Southwest and The Santa Fe Opera orchestra.

Cármelo De Los Santos is currently Assistant Professor of violin at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque and will be the soloist in the Brahms Violin Concerto.
