The Albuquerque Youth Symphony toured Brazil!!

We ended our 50th season with the Albuquerque Youth Symphony by giving a concert tour to Brazil on May 29 - June 10, 2006. Our students were excellent ambassadors for Albuquerque and New Mexico as they toured Brazil, giving concerts in the Amazon basin in Manaus, and the cities Belo Horizonte, Ouro Preto, Petropolis and Rio de Janiero.

AYO's Winter Tour to Ruidoso, Roswell, and Carlsbad

The Albuquerque Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Sayra Siverson Salter, represented the AYS Program in a concert tour to southern New Mexico on January 13-15, 2006. The AYO gave concerts in Ruidoso, Roswell, and Carlsbad. They also toured the International UFO Museum and the Carlsbad Caverns. A fun time was had by all!
