AYS Cellist and Concerto Winner Johnny Mok has been accepted to study at Tanglewood this summer, and is giving a benefit recital on Saturday, June 19 at 5:00 p.m. at Robertson & Sons Violin Shop. Donations will be welcomed at the door.
AYS Percussionist Bridget Elliott will be touring with the Blue Devils this summer, and will perform in "Drums along the Sandias" on Tuesday, June 22 at Rio Rancho. Call 1.888.306.DRUM or visit www.drumsalongthesandias.com for tickets and information.

CONGRATULATIONS to Nathan Humphries, AYS Cello and Volcano Vista High School Valedictorian
Jonathan Lee, AYS Cello, won first prize in the Jackie McGehee Young Artists' Concerto Competition for Piano and Strings (String Division) and Grand Prize at The 2010 Santa Fe Pro Musica Young Artists Scholarship Competition.

AYS Program Concert Hour on Classical KHFM Classical 95.5 & 102.9
We are pleased to announce that we will have a monthly, hour long radio program on KHFM. Hosted by AYS Conductor Gabriel Gordon and Board President Ken Hopper, the AYS Program Concert Hour will broadcast on the first Sunday of the month at 6:00 p.m. You'll hear interviews, live performances, and what's on with the AYS Program.
