Registration for the 2017-2018 season opens online at www.aysmusic.org on July 1, 2017. Registration will close on July 21, 2017. Please review important information below:
Upon completing the online registration form, you will receive an “AYSP Registration Confirmation” e-mail. Within a week of receiving your Registration Confirmation, an invoice will be sent to the same e-mail address. (Parent/Guardian #1 e-mail). The invoice will have a link to a secure AYSP QuickBooks/Intuit page where you can make a payment via credit card or ACH. (bank account payment)
JULY OFFICE HOURS:
Mondays: 9am - 11am & 2pm - 5pm;
Wednesdays: 9am - 1pm;
Friday: 9am - 1pm.
YCO, JS, JO & JSO music is available at the AYSP facility starting August 7, 2017. Students are expected to study their parts prior to the first rehearsal.
FIRST REHEARSAL & SEASON CALENDAR:
On our website www.aysmusic.org select “Programs” from the menu, select your ensemble, then select “Season Calendar” from the right menu to review the season schedule and first rehearsal date.
It is extremely important that you download and become familiar with the Musician’s Handbook. It is your guide to AYSP policies, and program information as several changes and additions have been made. You will find the link on the right side of our website homepage.
Active parent volunteers have always been part of the AYSP culture. With approximately 500 students supported by an administrative staff of three, parent volunteers are essential to the success of the program.
We request that parents participate as volunteers to the extent they are able. Please complete and return the Volunteer Application Form (http://aysmusic.org/volunteer) and check those skills you can provide, tasks you can assist with, and time commitment you are able to make.
We rely on donations from generous individuals and businesses like you to provide symphonic performance experiences to Albuquerque’s talented young musicians and access to music education for students in need.
