Thank you for attending the parent meetings last Saturday. I would like explain again the “3-step” process to our Luminaria Tradition.
Step 1: Folding Bags
Tomorrow (8/26) all students will receive 25 dozen bags (300 bags) that will be folded and returned by Saturday, October 7th. Please have your student return 12 bags on Saturday, September 9 for quality inspection.
PLEASE NOTE: We understand that bags sometimes tear. We have included 50 extra bags and ask that you fold all of them carefully.

We will host 4 Calling Parties at the AYSP facility from 1pm – 5pm on 10/21, 10/28, 11/04, 11/11. During these parties, students will call customers (reading from a script) to thank them for supporting the program by purchasing luminarias, or to remind them to order online this year. Students and families are asked to participate in one of these calling parties and will be able to sign up for a date through a SignUp.com link. We will provide this link on our website and e-mail via our Read and Heeds.
There will be door prizes and snacks for students to add to the fun!
Step 3: Luminaria Open House/Pick-up Day
All middle school students will participate in the Open House/Pick-up Day on Saturday, 12/16. On this day students will assemble luminarias at the AYSP facility and the building will be open for customers to pick up their ordered luminarias. We are asking students and their families to participate in one 5hr slot during this day. Slot sign-ups will be facilitated through SignUp.com, similarly to the calling parties. Pick-up Day will be filled with live music, prizes, food and drinks.
