First, I hope you all are staying safe and sane! We are in this for the long haul and our efforts will ultimately benefit the greater good. The short term sacrifice is hard though!
Because of continued concern regarding the security of the ZOOM meeting platform I would like to postpone our session for this week. I have read a bunch on this and I think they will get these issues solved, but I would like to give this a little time just to make sure. My main concern is personal information that may or may not be protected, so let's see how the rest of this week develops.
Dr. Armstrong has been hard at work both home schooling her kiddos and preparing your audition information. Be on the lookout for audition details soon, probably at the beginning of next week.
Parents and students - how are you doing? Usually I have a chance to engage weekly, is the distance learning going ok? Overwhelming, underwhelming or a bit of both? Are your orchestra's and band's still able to meet?
Thanks for the feedback, I certainly don't want to contribute to overloading the whole distance instruction situation we are in for the time being.
