The Youth Symphony has a rich history of touring locally, nationally, and internationally. Tours give students unparalleled opportunities to experience other cultures across the world, make life-long memories, and perform in world-class venues!
Students in the Youth Symphony are strong encouraged to participate in tours as they are offered, however tours are not mandatory for membership in the ensemble.
2015 TOUR TO COSTA RICA
In June of 2015, the Youth Symphony toured Costa Rica for 9 days! The tour included a trip by boat to the remote Tortuguero National Park to see some of the most diverse wildlife in the world, ziplining and horseback in Arenal, an outstanding concert from the Costa Rican National Symphony, a visit to the breathtaking La Paz Waterfall Gardens, and more! The Youth Symphony gave two sold out performances at a church in Arenal and the Teatro Nacional de Costa Rica.
