Please review the information below carefully - it contains important details about the dress rehearsal and concert. Concerts and dress rehearsals are REQUIRED activities for participation in the AYSP. If for any reason you/your student may be absent, you must email us at email@example.com to discuss the situation as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the above, please let us know.
UNSOLD CONCERT TICKETS AND/OR MONEY – TURN IN MONDAY, APRIL 11th
All unsold tickets and money are to be turned in at the rehearsal on Monday, April 11th. Additional tickets may be picked up at the AYSP office until Friday, April 15th. Students will not earn tour credit for any ticket sold on the day of the concert.
Dress Rehearsal – Saturday, April 16th, 10:10am -11:40Am (required)
NOTE CHANGE IN TIME FROM ORIGINAL SEASON SCHEDULE Report Time: 9:45am End Time: 11:40am Location: Enter Popejoy Hall through the loading dock on the south side of the building. Students should quietly enter the auditorium, get out instruments, and wait to be called to the stage when their rehearsal begins. Leave the cases in the auditorium seating during rehearsals. Parents are welcome to sit in the auditorium and listen. Attire: Casual. We encourage students to wear any AYSP shirt.
Concert – Sunday, April 17th, 5:00pm (required)
NOTE CHANGE IN TIME FROM ORIGINAL SEASON SCHEDULE Report Time: 4:30pm Concert: 5:00pm Location: Popejoy Hall. Students are to enter through the loading dock and go downstairs under the stage to store their instruments. Then students are to sit together in the hall to watch the Youth Concert Orchestra performance. Before the last YCO piece, students are to follow Ms. Siverson downstairs to get their music and instruments using the house left stairs. Concert Attire: Concert Dress Boys: Black suit jacket, black pants, white collared shirt, black dress shoes and socks, and solid colored tie Girls: Black AYSP uniform dress and black dress shoes. Tickets: Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased in advance from a YO student, at the Dale E. Kempter Center for Music Education (4407 Menaul Blvd. NE) or at the door. Children under 5 and students in all AYSP programs are free. Ask for a complimentary ticket at the door. Recording: Real Image Productions will be recording the concert. Video DVDs can be ordered at the concert or ordered online on our website.

The Youth Chorus, Junior Chorus, and Preparatory Chorus perform their final concert of the 2015-2016 season.
Tickets: $10.00 at the door.
APS music teachers, children under 5 and students in all AYSP programs are free. Ask for a complimentary ticket at the door.

One ticket is good for all performances on April 17th.
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased in advance from a YO or YS student, at the Dale E. Kempter Center for Music Education (4407 Menaul Blvd. NE) or at the door.Children under 5 and students in all AYSP programs are free. Ask for a complimentary ticket at the door.
APS music teachers, children under 5, and students enrolled in AYSP are free for all regular AYSP concerts. Just ask for a comp ticket at the designated ticket booth before the concert.
