We are very excited to welcome Wynton Marsalis to AYSP tomorrow evening and pleased that so many Youth Orchestra and Youth Symphony students have signed up for this event.
Students Attending the Event
Entry: If you registered at rehearsal or by email last week, your name will be on a list at the door. Just give your name to enter. Anyone who did not register in advance will not be allowed into the hall.
Instrument: You are required to bring your instrument.
Time: Please arrive before 6:00pm to get your seat.
Parking: We strongly recommend that students carpool or are dropped off. Parking will be challenging and the lot will fill up very quickly.
We would have loved to open this event to everyone involved with AYSP (AYSP students and families, APS students, donors, and community supporters of the program). Due to our very limited seating capacity, however, we have selected some specific targeted groups to invite which include students in the Youth Orchestra and Youth Symphony, APS and RRHS band directors, and some key community supporters of AYSP. At this time, the event is 100% full and we are unable to open it up to parents or any additional attendees. We wish we were able to accommodate more people, but we are excited to be able to share this wonderful event with so many students!
This event kicks off our Educational Outreach Series for the 2015-2016 season. We expect to offer several more lectures and masterclasses this year which will be open to AYSP students and the community. Please stay tuned for more information! We anticipate that future events will offer opportunities for even more AYSP families and students to participate.
Thank you for enthusiasm and understanding.
