Mr. Marsalis is a master musician and dedicated educator. His passion of building communities through music is exactly the reason it is perfect for us to partner with him! Not only is he a master of the Classical genre but also all styles of Jazz. Below is a link to his bio and more information about his life in music.
Many of you signed up at Monday's rehearsal, however, I wanted to reach out to you again in case you mistakenly passed up this wonderful opportunity. I can't tell you how amazing this opportunity is for you all and strongly encourage you to attend. You don't have to be interested in jazz in order to learn from a master. These musicians all began music as you did and have much to offer.
If you did NOT sign up at Monday's rehearsal and would like to attend, please email email@example.com by 5pm on Sunday (9/20) in order to be added to the guest list. Seating is very limited, so we are able to offer each student one seat. We hope to open up seats for your families next week; however, we are offering seats to students only first, as we want to include as many students as possible.
Thank you for your quick reply, and I will see you all on Monday!
We rely on donations from generous individuals and businesses like you to provide symphonic performance experiences to Albuquerque’s talented young musicians and access to music education for students in need.
